 did i kill my LC??

well i knocked up my LC jars about 3 weeks ago after the first week i had a mycolugie about the size of a quarter, i shook it up then about another week later i shook it agin.. i figure i should shake them becuase the little strands that brake off would grow to make a bunch of big mycolugies.. i looked at them today and there not all fluffy looking, more stringy like (would get a pic but the jars have the designs on them besides a lil normal spot) and they havent realy grown much since that first week.. did i kill them..?? 
another question about LC while im thinking of it.. how do ppl get those huge balls of mycilum in there LC, all i can ever get are the little quarter size balls. i use RC tec 96cc water 4cc karo placed in incubator 80-85 deg. and i cover the top of the lid with tyvek. ive used 1 cc of spore solution and ive used 1 whole print with same resaults. ive tried mixing up the LC solution and PC, adn ive tried just boiling the water and poring it into the jars, both ways work, i just dont get the resaults i think i should be getting..

If you are getting mycelium growth - without contamination - you ARE getting decent results.

i dont mean to jack this thread but since we're on the subject of Lc's, I wanna know if anyone has had increased success with injecting h202 right before the mycelium is harvested to ensure a contaminate free solution.

it should be contaminant free without the h202

oh, i completely agree... but just to make sure... would it hurt?
i know peroxide kills spores, but it can't hurt mycelium. maybe stunt it a little...

which is where your problem comes in, most visible contaminants are at the
mycelium stage as well, they're no longer spores
