Insomniac + Hypnosis

I need help, i cant sleep well, the doc has me on Trazodone, an antidepressant, at 50mg it has a very drowsy effect. its starting not to work as well it once did. Well i want to get off sleeping medications for good, because anything else is getting into the addictive category. Help, what are methods you use to fall asleep? take a shroom trip to fix the problem? or what? Ps. I have used Hypnosis, downloaded from the internet (Morpheus) www.musiccity.com type in hypnosis or subliminal, they have all sorts of audio hypnosis on the computer, mostly Paul Scheele is really good, the others suck, expect for deep sleep meditation, i dont think i have ever finished listening to it, i usually fall asleep to it. it has stuff for like self esteem, new behavior, relationships, and the sorts, mabey it would be trippy to get comfy in bed and listen to one, or two, or three...

sleeping medications are interesting... anybody else thinks the same? zolpidem is funny... stones the subject. midazolam gives you the most weird dreams... lucky me im not into it anymore.

sorry, i think i didnt help anything at all. im insomniac too and i found the best way to pass out is to get really tired during the day - endure many activities, pull things, push things, you'll be begging to be in your bed in the end of the day...

i was prescribed trazodone early this year to treat my depression, it just made it tough to go to sleep at night and impossible to actually get out of bed in the AM, i hate anti-depressants with a passion and refuse to take em, so i just stopped quickly.

i cant usually fall asleep without my tv on, just because it provides nice background noise since complete silence bothers me ... irony is that i hate television but whatever, it helps me sleep and i dont have to pay attention

often, though, these days i have so much endless work to do i am worn out and have no trouble hitting the sack, even in the middle of the daytime.

if i have to pay attention to something like a cd when i go to sleep it doesnt work and i end up waking up, it has to be insiginificant background noise ... ya thats my take on sleeping anyway
