My hunt Oct03 2005 Langley BC Canada PNW

Took pics of all the mushrooms I could find in the forrest by my house in Langley. Langley is between Abbotsford and Vancouver BC, Canada. Just above Sumas WA. If someone wants they can ID them all by number or just let me know if you see any active ones :smile:

Langley is a great place for active mushrooms....check around town for stunzi's and out fort langley way for lib caps

#3 is a mycena

#4 cortinarius? not really sure, just a guess. maybe the scaley cort.

#9 is coprinus micacea

#10 appears to be another kind of mycena

#11 is a definate cortinarius, you can tell by the hairy stuff on the stem under the cap, its called a cortina and its a collapsed remnant of the cortinarius veil.

#13 is a rosy russula, russula rosacea. you can tell its a russula by the bright white stem, the shape is kind of a club towards the bottom and i betcha if u squeeze it, it will be hollow as an old log.

#14 appears to be another kind of mycena...

#16 is the same species as #11.

and nice bud, looks somewhat comparable to my homegrown...
