drinking straw tek works!

a friends set of ks cakes were done. he tried the drinking straw method to rehydrate them. it worked well, 2nd flush is not as big as 1st but alot better than starting over. he will try dunking tek next batch to compare results. is there a better way to prolong a cakes life? casing?

of course casing will prolong the life of mycelia. thats partly the whole point of casing.
