Please list your timer setting for your humidifiers and if they are ultrasonic or cool mist.

been experimenting for two days. Its very hard to stabilize humidity with an ultrasonic. Im down to my last variables, and i think i go it. Obviously if you leave it on 24/7, rh is 100% If you have it on a timer, the off time has no air exchange.

Soooo, I mounted a computer fan blowing inwards, and put the fan and the ulrasonic on a 15 minute on, 1.5 hour off setting. So every 1.5 hour the humifier and the fan kick on for 15 mins which circulates air, while supplying nice mist.

This brings the humidity to around 86% When the timer trips off for 1.5 hours, the airflow stops and the remaining humidity stabilizes at about 94% and remains in the low 90's till it trips back on. Than the cycle starts over again

Complicated part that i didnt realize is that an ultrasonic combined with a fan will lower the humidity and humidity will increase at the stand still stage. Kinda wacky..

But when all is said and done, new air is exchanged every 1.5 hours, the humidity stays good, and the water supply in the humidifier lasts a long time..

If anyone wants to see pics, ill post em, but i also want to hear other peoples teks to moderate humidity with ultrasonic
