She's such a sweetie. I woke up this morning and she had dragged my flip flop in her cage to chew on it  She shews EVERYTHING. She loves being held and slept in our bed for a little while last night. She didn't whine much which was surprising. We discovered this morning that she has a few fleas...gonna take care of that today. It was so hard to leave for work this morning...I miss her already

Awww...I think the name suits her perfectly. She's so awesome...I almost cried when I had to leave the house this morning for work. I just wanted to stay home and play with our new friend 
The name Lucy remind me of the movie I Am Sam, where he names his daughter Lucy Diamond Sky.

hah! He's only SEMI retarded  Her coat is really pretty, and very very soft. The puppy breath is funny, she was laying on my chest sleeping, panting in my face She makes funny noises a lot too, like cooing. She sounds kinda like a chicken

if you want a hiking buddy get a rhodesian ridgeback it will out hike you and you wont have to bring gallons of water heat is no prob for them. they kinda look like labs anyways

Ridgebacks are awesome dogs. They can jump so damn high too. AND they're fiercely protective of their families/owners.

Yeah but I have 2 kids and labs are great with children. I also want a dog that likes water as much as we do. We had a black lab before and we adored her. Her name was Macy. We only had her for 2 weeks but we fell in love with her.

Labs are great with kids. In all fairness though, a family I know had a ridgeback, with 3 very small children. He was very protective of all of them, and very sweet to them. The little one used to ride on his back
And Looner, the dog's nails aren'tvery long...it's only 10 weeks old. She's been playing outside a lot so they may be a bit dirty We're giving her a bath tonight, so maybe they'll come clean.
