inoculated after making syringe from print should i have waited till next day so my spores could rehydrate?

Yes you probably should have, if they were dry. I really don't think it should be a problem though...did you make the print or buy it?

it doesnt matter. i mean it still works when you take spores from a print and put em directly in the jar, so it wouldnt be a problem if they didnt have enough time to rehydrate in the syringe.

Dr. Joseph makes a valid point.

If you waited 24 hours after making the syringe, the spores would be rehydrated--cutting some time off the mycelium growth. If you didn't wait, the spores would have to be rehydrated from the moisture from the jar.

No big deal. It will still work, just maybe take a couple days longer.

Next time, armed with this knowledge, just let the spored rehydrate.

6 of one, half a dozen the other.
