Combination sterilization techniques.

I was looking at a table of TDT for various bacteria at different moist heat levels and dry heat levels.
Some took 400min @ 100C moist, yet only 4mins at 140C dry. And vice versa, some took very short times moist 100C and long times dry. Is there any procedure for combinations of dry and moist heat?
Which would be best to do one before the other? I read something on endospores in dry heat at 140F the parent spores will produce more endospores, yet they would be killed with moist. So in that case it seems moist first would kill vegatative and then dry would kill others. But maybe the opposite is applicable to more bacteria.

I have had success by simple 100C boiling of previously roasted grains. I am now trying it in a larger batch of 1000g dry wheat. It was up at about 150C in the microwave for a good 20mins. Then boiled straight after for 90min.

Is there benefit to doing one step after another? i.e. keeping the heat going, seems it should kill more. I will give the grain another few goes in the microwave, since although it is a test I do not want to loose this batch.

I will try out smaller control jars with less grain.
