You can get P. Cyanescens, Pan Subbs (I think), Azures (I think) and Amanita Muscaria's.
I think there's 2 or 3 more but its hard to find anything else other than Libs and Amanita Muscarias.

Ative Mushroom species found in the UK are:
Panaeolina Foenisecii (haymakers mushroom) Panaeolus Campanulatus Psilocybe Coprophila Psilocybe Montana Hyphaloma Cyanescens Amanita Muscaria and the most common, Psilocybe Semilanceata

Hi Stanger I thought "Haymakers" were p.cyanescens. I've met somone who knows where to pick them, have you (or anyone else ?)any more information about them (trip reports, photos, links etc.)please?

I think P.Pelliculosa can be in all the places having P.Semilanceata.

P.Montana is active, but it varies greatly in it's potency, from virtually nothing to around the same as a typical P.Semilanceata.

Psilocybe montana is NOT active. Neither is Panaeolina foenisecii, Panaeolus campanulatus or Psilocybe coprophila.

Then I stand corrected, I have read (ref: A Guide to British Psilocybin Mushrooms by Richard Cooper) that the mushrooms I mentioned are indeed active.

That booklet is quite out of date and very inaccurate. I'd recommend you to get a copy of Paul Stamets' Psilocybin Mushrooms of the World.
