Doesn't really matter. You can use any of the cubensis strain to grow on grains. The different strains of cubensis will have different growth characteristics, some may be fast at colonising but slow to fruit and vice versa, etc. etc.

I was reading about the Z strain, and I'm thinking that is going to be my best bet for it's speed and easy growth with resistance to cantimination (mind you I'm newb to cultivating)...
Does anyone know how Z-Strain performs on grainbase?

Same as any Cube man. Also I would try and get a print from someone in the shroomery community. One that is fresh and really has someone who just grew the strain and knows what its characteristics are really like. There is a lot of vendor hype out there.

Not really i def. support our vendors and sponsors. What I'm saying is that vendors will hype up strains. Your have not been a member long enough to use the market place, maybe you can im not sure if there is a restriction that forum or not.
If your a newbie, get a syringe from a dealer. Hawks Eye is a good one. So is Ralphs, ive heard nothing but good things about him. You wont have to worry about contams that way.
