these are growing all over the place in grass, in big clusters. i guess it would be too good to be true for them to be active and safe to eat.. but it's worth a shot to see what you guys think.

i wouldn't want to disturn the spiders though.

do me a couple of things. a) pull one up and take some more photos.. b) take a spore print.. i should be able to help ya out.. ill check back.. thanks

those are probably Honey Mushrooms.

thanks for your help and advice, both of you. the spore print print came back white and considering the stubble growing near the center of the top of these friends plus their vigorous cluster-growth, i'm almost certain these must be ringless honey mushrooms.

that patch that i photographed has almost tripled in size.

i miss florida..
