Zen is a psychothreapy. So if you want a more holistic element look into Zen.

i've been considering digging into buddhism lately... i'm currently reading the alan watts book "cloud hidden-whereabouts unknown".

he considers buddhism "the religion of non religion". i don't know enough about it to really have a strong opinion, but with what little i do know so far i would have to agree with you...

thank you luke

peace

cateyes

Be careful about any religion. They are tricky and dogma filled and that includes buddhism.

If you want to go there via Alan Watts that's a good idea. He is a fan of Taoism which makes a great philosophy and a worthless religion. I guess you could say the same about Zen buddhism also.
