Colonization Started

Just wanted to update everyone on my 7 jars of EQ's. They were innoculated Monday night, and on Friday are showing between 10%-15% colonization. The micron magick filter discs i'm using seem to be making a big difference. The spores were from lil shop of spores, they were delivered in 4 days.

One question, I had been using plastic lids without a hole in them, can I remove them and put on the metal rims?

I am using a perlite incubation chamber

don't remove the lid until you have more colonization, your asking for trouble. if colonization is taking place and you are using filter disks just leave them alone. if they ain't broke don't fix em.
