Pinning
    #4745423 - 10/02/05 04:08 PM (11 years, 2 months ago)

Hey you guys, have a question for you. How long does it usally take for a tub of poo/straw made with either WBS or BFR cakes to start pinning after you induce fruiting??

Thanks,
~ :mushroom2:

Hmmm, alright. It's been exactly a week and one tub with the BFR is getting fuzzy and briliant white, however the tub with th WBS is not really doing much on anything, I can tell that the myc. is still growing and spreading but very slowly.

So is your poo/straw finished colonizing and is cased or have you just spawned your bulk and are waiting for it to colonize or what?

I posted a few days ago explaining my entire problem/situation. One of the tubs is finished colonizing..actually it is overlayed. I got the tub from my friends and am trying to save it. I took the top layer off and it seems to be doing okay. It is producing alot of waste [orange/yellow blots of water]. It'e been in fruiting for a week and is becoming fuzzy white. The other tub, is mine but I did not have it at my place of residence the entire time. It is not at the same point, it is actually still colonizing and seems to be doing fine. Neither of the tubs are cased because I had no way of doing it. I tried to get verm and coccoa coir in two different cities at; Menards, Home Depot, Wal Mart, Sargent's Plant Nursery, The local organic stores. all of them are out because verm is not in season.I was thinking about ordering it but i thought it would take to long but I think I may still do that. Hmmm...

It will still pin if it's healthy.
Just keep fanning a few times a day at room temperature.

Hope it works out for ya.

Does it smell normal (shroomy?)

Yeah one smells very normal, the other one however smells horrible, like poo..but it is not fully colonized. Thanks for all your advice mockeylock.
