ropey liquid?

one of my jars of liquid culture has what looks like ropey mycilium in it. my first thought was that my agar work is really payin off. but now that its time to noc-up stuff im worried. has anyone seen this before?

ive seen this during my colonization stage and just chucked out the cakes since it was taken weeks till i saw any signs of colonization.

can you people read? liquid not cakes. normally i see fluffy white clouds of myc in the water/karo solution. this time its the same color but a ropey shape. is this ok. its not a cake, its not a grain jar, nor a fuckin water buffalo.
