does anyone have any experience playing on game systems while tripping? what is it like? what kind of games are good?

I like older games. The old mario for NES is fun. I just got a emulator off the internet and downloaded the rom. Same with NeoGeo and Metal Slug X...much fun!

I played a shootemup once, I just forgot about it and myfingers played by themselves while my friend and I started having a conversation instead. We never got as far as we did that time ever again...

Sometimes games are the best thing in the world when you're tripping... other times they're boring as hell. Its fun to play mario kart on the super nintendo and I like playing Shenmue on dreamcast, I forget what I'm doing in it a lot though, heh.

Games are only my favorite thing to do while tripping. Super Mario anything, Metal Gear Solid, WWF No Mercy, Zelda, fun as hell!

any game not requiring too much thinking (such as old NES games [mario, excite bike, kung fu, etc]) or colorful/visually amazing games which you'd simply be content to stare at and not mind about winning. multiplayer games, hella fun (mario party etc) colorful AND fun for a whole group to play.
i'd say the only games that most likely would not be too much fun to play are RPGs, WAAAAAYYYY too much thinking involved ... or games with heavy hardcore mazes (such as those in Doom 2). just keep it simple and nintendo-y and you should have a blast

Yea, videogames fuckin rock when tripping :)
Try Quake3, its a visual lightshow.. jumping around on these electronic trampolines shooting rockets and lightbeams at each other.. pretty crazy..
Mario3 is also pretty fun.. something is just magical about that game.. Probably because the concept of it screams shroomtrip..
also played Final Fantasy 9, that was neat, from then on when i went back to a certain place in the game (that i played when i was tripping) it felt very sentimental and homey to me.. hehe
hrm.. i imagine some racers would be fun too..
pretty much any game where you just only have to worry about moving and shooting..

If you are on a LAN, or have a friend willing to bring a computer to your house....it's amazing to play Quake2 while high, as long as it's against someone else who's high.
It's great. I can hear my friend scream every time I kill him, and his room is upstairs from mine.

games i usualy play would be:
. N20 for playstation (swirly colors and nicey visuals)
. Halflife Tfc (just practicing my concussion jumping over and over again..it gets quite addictive)
. Chrono Cross...just the parts where you do all the kick ass attacks like lumiare and stuff..none of the thinking parts
. tried to play abe's oddessy, but i depressed me alot
. bustamove 99 (my bf is gonna kill me soon if i dont stop that one)
. toejam & earl 2
. toejam & earl (if you dont mind repetition)
If anyone has an old commador 64 and the game "jump man" please let me know..i'm willing to pay top dollar
i cant think of anything else right now...
tempest (i think that's the name..another spacey one..you look like this little paperclip thing that races around and shoots stuffs..very good visuals playstation)

mario 64 for n64, doa2, soul calibur, quake III arena on DC. i bet gta3 on ps2 would be intense...

wipeout xl has great music {chemical brothers,fsol, ect) and has great graphics that will have you and your friends moving your heads w/ turns and gripping the couch.

GTA 3 is the funnest when your incapacitated from smoking so much herb. i havent played any games while tripping but i would imagine that pretty much any game with little thinking involved would be good. but who knows maybe if you were clear minded enough from the shrooms you could spend an entire trip playing an rpg

Video games are also pretty fun when your stoned too, but the thing is though with weed as compared to shrooms you get that "Oh fuck this, I need to do something else!" vibe. But if you can sit down the duration of the high, I can imagine just playing games until the morning would be an intensely educational and entertaining experience. Dont play any action games or anything, Hehe I was playing Tony Hawk the other night after eating a nice amount of weed, thinking "Three video tapes cant be that hard, man!". Unfortunately, it was much harder than anything else the civilized world has ever known.

Yea, definitely! GTA3 is crazzzzzy after a couple of bowls!
It all seems really real and important and neat.
And doing really pointless stuff is fun like trying to get the police to drive into the water or smacking loads of people and running off to start them following you like a parade.
