Who am I to say what the world should be?
    #4739571 - 10/01/05 02:35 AM (11 years, 2 months ago)

Too often people are too caught up in imagining or trying to actualize their version of the ideal world - whatever that may be. I myself am one of the worst offenders when it comes to this. But who the fuck am I so say how the world should be? If 6 billion people each have 6 billion different versions of the perfect world, who's right?

No, the world is exactly how it should be RIGHT NOW. There is no need to impose judgement on the way things are or the way they should be. Love what exists now because its beauty is in its is-ness.

Sorry if you already knew this, but it just feels really good for me to understand.

It's the basic human dilemma, no matter if it's west or east, right?

That's a good attitude, Metasyn, but don't be afraid to flex your ego from time to time. It's a gift, no matter if it was given or not. Among those 6 billion + perspectives can be found a good deal of malice, or worse, ignorance leading to harm. Philosophy fails in the face of action (everythings action everythings action everythings action). Exemplify yourself!

(whatever that means)

they are all right. you know, as in correct, not ok. there are 6+ billion solipsists on this godforsaken planetoid, all serving completely isolated life times, they just don't realize it and many strive to become part of "the whole" when in fact everything out there is simply a reflection of themselves.

just be, that's good advice, but for now i'll stick with nike and just do it!-)

who are you to say how the world should be?

You are a PART of the world! That's who are are!

you may not be able to say how the world should be for the everyone else on earth, but you have a say as to how it should be for YOURSELF.

It'd be nice to be able to live for the appreciation of the beauty that exists and not worry about eliminating the ugly that exists. Because what is ugly after all than something you disagree with?

If everything in your surrounding enviroment is always perfect, it doesnt leave any room for improvement. While white and black are just subjective views on life that could be inversed on a matter of perspective, things aren't good or bad but just are, it doesnt mean that you shouldnt let your existance be known. Change is the only thing that builds character.
