Cordyceps host quest

I've done exaustive searches on prospective hosts for this species, the best I can come up with is 'I'm going to try roaches" or "I think crickets might work"

Anyone heard of successful fruitings on ANYTHING?

:) I'm thinking of trying mealworms :)

Also, I wonder if you couldn't get it to fruit on grain substrates, supplemented appropriately. Everyone seems satisfied with mycelial extracts of this guy. I asked Stamets at Telluride awhile back, he said he only does alcohol extracts of jars.

I want fruits!

Alcohol extracts hey....can you be more specific? Does he use it as a tincture or what. How about his teas?
