On halloween

Is it wrong to decorate your porch so it's scary?

I have a lot of ideas to make it nice. Strobe light, fog machine, scary sounds, and black sheets hanging up so it's like a haunted house.

And have my porch couch at the end of the front porch so it's facing the door. I'm going to dress up and pass out candy. I'm just worried for the LITTLE kids.

Isn't that what it's all about though?

Everyone loves a good scare, even toddlers.  Don't let them tell you otherwise.

I remember one year i stayed with my cousins and uncle for halloween. He bought a gorilla suit and sat out in front of the house with a bowl of candy in his lap and a sign saying something along the lines of "We're sorry we're not home, but take one, and only one please." He looked like just a big fake stuffed gorilla. Then when kids would come up if they took more than one piece of candy he would grab them by the arm and start screaming. Definately the funniest halloween thing i've ever seen.

My one friend's family went all out on Halloween. They would put a pumpkin on a switch pad. When a kid would come over to take the pumpkin to smash it a buzzer would go off and all kinds of lights in the yard would turn on. There was always a person dressed like a scarecrow who pretended to be a dummy and they would jump up and grab the kid. Fun shit.
