Huge C. comatus and more (pics)

Today I went for a bike ride and found this humongous shaggy mane:

It looked even bigger in real life.

I wish I would have gotten to these giants before they went bad (of course, they might not have been as huge then...):


Some more normally sized ones:


Another Coprinus species at the same site, maybe C. plicatilis?


Also found these (Lepista nuda and Amanita muscaria below):

I am fairly certain that they are blewits, based on habitat (a pile of leaves, pine needles and small sticks), color, general statue, smell, etc. I was actually so certain that I ate some from another location last week. The color is a bit off on the left picture due to the flash, this is more like reality:

Or did you think of something else?

ive never personally found wood blewits :smile:
so i am not very familiar with them.

the purple color really comes out in that last picture,
the pictures say it all
