Possible use of TDS and EC meters?
    #4732997 - 09/29/05 06:08 PM (18 years, 7 months ago)

my friend might be giving me a 3 in 1 meter that reads Ph, TDS (total dissolved solids), and EC (electrical conductivity). Im not quite sure how well these other 2 readings will register as this may be more for hydro than soil, i guess we'd fall under organic soil testing, but do you think there would be any use for these readings in the first place?

the tds might only be for liquids, but maybe could be used in liquid cultures or nutritient dunks.

Electric conductivity though, i think works in solids.

I have one of those, but have yet to find a fungi application for it.
