Some help w/ identification
    #4730153 - 09/29/05 09:17 AM (11 years, 2 months ago)

Hi all,
As you can see below these are the mushrooms I gathered(first time hunting)picked on grassy pasture land, dark purple spore print, distinctive Liberty Cap point - can't see that too well on the photo it's a bit on the blurry side I know.
The caps have taken on a beige/tan colour since picking as they've dried out somewhat.. can anyone shed anymore light? Just want to be sure y'know.
Thanks in advance

they look like liberty caps to me and the area you picked it in seems correct, same with the spore print colour.

but just to clarify, i'm not a hunting expert it would be nice to get more input from people

Definately some libs in there but make sure they are all the same before you eat them. Good job though, most of the ones in that picture are 100% liberties. Wish i lived in the area to pick some mm good.
