depending on the size of your terrium. i would put it on slow. if you set it too high it might lower your humity levels. you want just enough to push out co2 and add some fresh 02. hope this helps you DaBeerLover

Sorry, I now see that I was begin unclear. I am drying mushrooms before they are put into the dessicant chamber.

thats ok man, it happens. fast cool movement of air will dry them up nice. if they are very big you can cut them in half lengh wise. hope this is better DaBeerLover

A 12 V computer fan is strong enough for this.

They can move a lot of air. A 60mm fan (delta black lable) can crank 38cfpm Then think of what a 120mm fan will do

Computer fans are great!! dont know what i'd do without em. yes, 1 fan will be enough.. i made an airtight box 3 feet tall, and 1'x1' at the bottom for growing pot in.. tons of lights inside it, so heat builds up hella fast. i only have 2 twelve volt computer fans at the top of the box, and that is enough to keep it plenty cool inside. its great. 2 comp fans take care of all my problems. peace
