Man Killed With Fork

POSTED: 2:15 pm EDT September 26, 2005
UPDATED: 9:23 am EDT September 27, 2005

A Green Bay, Wis., man is charged with killing his neighbor with a fork, according to police.

Investigators said Gordon Senecal was taking care of Todd Charles' 15-year-old pit bull over the weekend when an argument broke out between the two men.

The men began fighting at Charles' home and Senecal was stabbed with a large serving fork, police said.

Senecal was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Charles is expected in court Monday for his first appearance.

Law. Murdering people with strange weapons is at least related to the law, if not that significant.

Not seeing the PA&L link. But,

Had to have been a neck shot. My brother and I used to fight alot when we were young. One fight we had ended up in the kitchen with him grabbing a fork out of the drain rack and burying it into my forearm. After a moment of disbelief on my part and his realization that a fork was swaying slightly with my body movement he took off running. I grabbed a knife from said drainrack and hurled it through the air. It met his shoulder blade on the other side of the living room.

He cringed. It stayed lodged for second then began to slowly drop down then out.

Good times.

Sorry for the sidebar.

Christ man, that's an insane fight. How old were you to throw knives at your brother's back?

I was probably 13 or 14 and he was 11 or 12.

I got plenty of great stories about us fighting or just generally getting into mischief.  I'll have to make a write up in OTD one day.  Like the time I broke his nose with a Little League trophy.  Who knew those marble bases were so hard?  And sharp?

It really was just normal sibling fighting only more extreme.

By the way he suffered no permanent damage as the result of my attacks on him and vice versa.  Other than scar or two.

And we get along pretty well now.

Our fighting is confined to the verbal variety.

That does it, I'm calling Diane Feinstein and demand she do something about fork violence. Maybe if forks are only sold with a traceable serial number and we register all buyers of forks...

But that leaves the fork show loophole open.

So the Californians will be eating with tuning forks?  Maybe that will get those liberals in tune with the rest of America

I heard that using forks can lead to harder utensils such as chopsticks and corkscrews.
