chemical makeup and seratonin

Few questions:

Where can I find a comprhensive breakdown of the chemical content of different species? I havent searched yet but am thinking a university mycology webpage maybe.

Seratonin:

Which species have more seratonin or have it at all?

Anyone know if the brain can utilize this seratonin? If the brain is depleted of seratonin could ingesting seratonin raise the levels in your brain?

Take some 5htp, its a metabolic precursor to seratonin. Also, take vitamin b6 with it, as it helps the metabolised 5htp breach the blood/brain barrier.
