house flooded- meldew contam on my cases

I had three cases when my apartment got flooded and the meldew took them over. How can I keep this from happening?

All you really need to do to keep this from happening again is clean your house very very well. Mildew is a health hazard anyway so you should be doing this because it can cause asthma.

My mom swears by using a mixture of the household cleaner TSP (actually I think it might be a laundry booster), bleach, and water. I don't know if this actually works or not but this is what she tells me kills mildew.
