I've decided to use the perlite humidification tek and was wondering what others have expierenced with rain falling from the lid. Is there a true need for a rainshield?

to stop rain falling from the lid, rub a VERY thin layer of petroleum jelly or baby oil onto the lid. This will stop condensation.
