"in time you do have to go from first to last, by the passing from the past to the present. If time started at negative infinity, you"
who?
"would have to go from negative infinity to get to zero"
that's like saying a person has to go from negative infinity to zero to count the real numbers 3,4,5. it's like you give the concept of sequence a special meaning, and say, it's time so sequence is special there.
but sequence is an illusion. there's as much continuity through the dimension of time as there is through any other dimension, breadth for example. a person at one moment, is not the same thing as the "same" person the next moment, more like part of the same person's life (even though our language confuses this reality). just as my left arm is part of the same body as my right are (as my gaze travels through breadth).
"hawkman & penrose have used their fucked up mind boggling mathematics and rigourously proved that time must have a beginning in what is called the big bang. to grasp that intuitively, before the big bang, there was no universe (as we know it). "
i don't think there be a "before" the big bang, if the big bang was the beginning of time.

the origin and end of time might be like a dimensional asymptote...
this accords with my layman's best guess as to a beginning to time

no argument there. first there be the mushroom (and allman bros will back me up on this), all the rest came afterwards, time included, problem solved...

perception=reality time=perception perception=me time=what i percieve it as
when you are a tree, 3 minutes to you is like 11 hours to a person.
Time exists, it exists in a line, but it is different for ever conscious energy force, each beginning at a different distance from the beginning and lasting only a short time, it has a begining and extends on for infinity.
imagine time as a ray, with each conscious being's life being a segmant on this ray, with inifnite points inside it and infinite points outside it, and you can move from one to the other...
you just have to find the right vessel to do so.
