Fly Agaric

I live in the peidmont area of North Carolina, I have lots of pine trees and alot of forest area. Would it be worth looking for some amanita muscarias?

Also on a different note, is it true that in NC cows must be fed feed that stops active shrooms from growing?

The feed myth is not true, and yeah, you can find some Amanita muscaria. Look in yards with widely spaced pine trees and short grass, or without grass.

I have never seen them personaly in residental areas where I am at, in forests always , but I am in PNW  so I am sure its different . Have you guys had a frost there yet ? I am not entirely sure we will get fly agaric to fruit this year, its been repeatedly frosting, and freezing ocassionaly at night, last year I found them nearly three weeks ago , and the weather was much warmer , would be curious to know if they fruit after that , I know ' other ' things do after frost  We want the toadstools though right ThePredator ??? ^_-  -Tranceharper
