there is some smell to the poo but it shouldn't be a bad type of smell. all in all the slight odor that you get from the poo is more than made up for by the quality of the grow.
best of luck

Definitely a matter of opinion. I don't mind the smell because I know what will come of it. My wife get's nausea and has to leave the house when I'm pasturizing. I still think it DOES smell bad, but this is like trying to argue about what the best strain is or something, It's all OPINION.

agreed on that one. i think the reason i don't get alot of smell is because i use agars method of pasteurization.

I really like doing it in the bag cause there is no open air or handling of the poo afterwards, a nice sterilized scoop to fill the tubs and then mixing in the spawn with some gloved hands.

I got some really old cow poo, probably shat in the stone age. Didnt smell much at all during heating. Older the better.
