I would imagine that would be either really challenging after Rita, or really improved because of Rita.

I've been eating fish from here for years, along with everyone I know, no problems.

I flyfish in SE MN. I'm not that good but still catch a few. We have too many small streams and too many trees around them. At least at my favorite Brookie spots.

Never trout fished in MN, but I have done some northern fishing in the Park Rapids area. Never caught anything huge but even the smaller ones are great on a fly rod.

Nice. I tie too. I'm not a huge fan of dry flies though. I like streamer and nymph fishing the best. Exept maybe when I fish the limestoners in Southern PA.

I've been flyfishing exclusively for a long time, I've fished in PA at Penn's Creek, and up north on the East Branch of the Delaware.
I build my own rods and tie my own flys.
But, I prefer saltwater flyfishing, especially in the Keys and the Everglades.

I didn't mean it that way, I thought "chasing rainbows" sounded funny.
But I am a trout snob when it comes to eating, native brookies only.

I pretty jealous of you, you_suck. The trout we pull up here are nothing. I think two years ago I caught a few brookies that were over 20". Lake trout are abundant during the winter( or at least I actually catch them) when ice fishing. S
When we pull in the big ones they are usually northerns and muskie. Ive never caught a muskie large enough to keep. In the waters up here they have to be either 48" in the St Lawrence, or 54" in the tributaries.
