I was planning on using the Honey TEK...I've got 1 spore syringe...and as many empty, sterile syringes as I need...So tell me...If I'm using the PF TEK on 1/2 pint jars, how many jars can I innoculate using the Honey/Spore water made from 1 syringe???

1cc per quart jar of spore solution will make 10 jars. assume you can make 10 (its probably a lot more if you fill jar up halfway). 2cc's per syringe gives you 5 jars per syringe.
figure that out and its at least 500 jars. look closer and that might make sense.

maybe theres a tek out there to explain how to use it!

Yes..well i don?t know how much sense 500 jars make...i?d and if u use 1 jar to innoculate 3 pounds of spawn u get..uuhhmmm...to move to a bigger house to handle that much substrate..;)

Oh, I don't about that.... I could make some fat ass rubbermaid casings with 500 jars, I think about 10 18gallons would do it... ;-)

is it better to use a stem of a mushroom or spores from a syringe for the honey tek?

use the stem to get a clone(exact genetic replica of that mushroom), or if you use a spore syringe, you will end up with many different strains. if you find a mushroom that talks to you and says "save me" then clone it(this is what dude does).

oh and I have just the mushroom for the job. Is it bad to put the cap in to if the veil has not broken yet?

Sterility is the key!! Here is a post i made elsewhere:
Here's a simple method to cloning. This is what dude does. 1. prepare your honey water jar normally. 2. prepare sterile syringe with water inside (this would probably work w/o any water in the syringe, but dude has always done it with). 3. inside your glovebox, peel the stem of your desired mushroom to clone, back to the cap. 4. take a core sample of the mushroom stem(the inside\ never touched part) with your syringe.(DON'T suck core sample into the syringe, just leave it in the needle tip) 5. inject core sample into your honeywater jar. within a few days, you will see mycelium starting to grow from the fragment you cored and injected. Treat as regular honeywater. You now have isolated mycelium, cloned from your chosen fruit, without the hassles of agar. BTW: dude uses nothing more than a cleaned and lysol-sprayed 10gal. aquarium, covered with plastic wrap for his glove box. He has accomplished about a 99% success rate for making syringes and a 90-95% success rate for cloning using this method. Oq
