Met a shroomerite
    #4709182 - 09/25/05 10:03 AM (18 years, 6 months ago)

Met up with LearyFan at the protest yesterday. After finally finding each other, my friends and I went off to the port-o-potties and to find a friend of one of my friend's. So we did that, then made a spliff and invited LearyFan over but he was already in the march. So my friends and I went down to the march and shouted and chanted and all that good stuff. LearyFan was up in a tree for a while apparently, but when we got to where he was he had left like 10 minutes before.

So yeah it was neat, we met for at least a few minutes.

He seems like a cool guy.

There were a bunch of anti-war and peace protests all over the country yesterday. The one in DC had over 100,000 people apparently.

Yeah man. Went to the one in DC

It was really cool, I didn't realize what speakers were supposed to come, so when they announced "Jesse Jackson" I was surprised. But no where near as surprised as when I heard "and now, Ralph Nader!"

Yeah I think it was mainly in DC, but I think I remember reading about other events happening all over the country (could be misremembering though, just woke up from a barbiturate induced sleep )

Awesome man, I love meeting Shroomerites.

Hey, I didn't see this thread. Yes, I'm proud to have at least briefly met Shroomery member #132803, dblaney. He is a righteous guy and I am honored to have met him as well as his friend. I had no idea Ralph Nader spoke at the protest on Saturday. I'm pretty disappointed that I missed him. Oh well, I got to see Cindy Sheehan and dblaney, so that's good enough for me.

Yeah, too bad I couldn't share that spliff with you dblan! I thought that's what I heard you say you were doing. That's pretty ballsy. Where did you go to do that?

Indeed Number 7582 ( ) Nader, Jesse Jackson, and Cindy Sheehan were all great speakers.

We just smoked on the grass, a little to the side of the main speaker stage, no one minded and a few even chuckled at us.

"Osama bin Forgotten"

It was a good time man...maybe next protest we'll be able to chill.

Doesn't matter anyhow; I have a feeling that Learyfan votes Republican. (Not that there's anything wrong with it...)

Haha I'm fairly certain he is a liberal, why do you think he's a republican?

Oh by the way, have you thought about putting :crankey: inside your avatar's helmet?

If someone could make it for me, and it didn't look retarded, I would sport ;crankey; in my avatar.

However, I just don't think it would look right.
