Hi everyone! Does any1 know a substitute for vermiculite?(fort rice cakes cultivation in jars) There's no such thing in my country.

No, please don't give me any links cos I can't afford ordering it from aborad. I need a substitute!
So WHAT CAN I USE INSTEAD OF VERMICULATE?

There isn?t a substitue for vermiculite in the PF tek.

You can grow mushrooms using rye or birdseed(millet), or rice cased with peat buffered with limestone.
But you need a pressure cooker for that.

There is vermuculite in Bularia for sure

It?s called VERMIKULIT , you will find it eventually, go to a garden supply store or to a big gardener.
