reason help~~~~~
    #4708333 - 09/25/05 04:23 AM (11 years, 1 month ago)

WELL ive been looking at reason, and its confusing as hell. I mean, firt off i tried taking the tutorial in the pdf manual, but when I got into it they said experiment with your keyboard, recording etc... Well I dont have a keyboard, I dont need one either do I?

I was using subtractor, and I succesfully loaded pads into it, but I dont understand how you hear them, there is no play button, graph or anything. Do I need a keyboard or soemthing?

I would appreciate the help, because I couldnt find the answers to my questions in the pdf manual.

thanks      :mushroom2: :sun:

cool man, reason is awesome
it looks more confusing than it is though
just start playing around with it and learn while you're doing that.
you can just put the rfl files in the reason folder

this is the last track I made with reason:

click on the banner in my sig to visit my website (www.grimoire-music.tk) where more tracks that I made with reason are located

click for my music                  First release!
smooth chillout dub        Tales of the Green Dragon EP
prog psy and livesets

older music: ambient and psydub

Congrats on your reason purchase. Reason is a fun program. I'm learning how to use reason 2.5 at the moment. the prog might seem confusing at first but it really get easier down the line. you'll be busting out tracks in no time. I would recommend you follow the tutorial from the manual then get this book. It explains what every single knob, fader, effect, device, button, etc does in reason.
