HELP Poo temp went to 190 degrees!?

I was doing the oven tek and the temp went to 190 should i bee concerned i took it out and put it on a ice pack and let it go down to 175 then i put it back in the oven. Is this bad i know it said not to go over 185?

dont worry about it. i did the same shit my first try with poop. i think mine got to almost 200. i used it anyway and it worked fine.

For what reason should you not let it get above 180? I read the pasturization tek, and I saw that you shouldn't let it get above 180, but no explanation was given? Microrganisms can survive temps higher than that. I don't have a PC, nor have I invested in those nifty autoclave bags, so I've just been baking the hell outta my h'poo and it seems to be working just fine.

When you let the temperature get that high, it kills lots of beneficial bacteria that help fight off contaminants. If you have some poo left that didn't go thast high, you might consider apsturizing a bit of that properly then mixing the two. But it should probably be OK.
