pasturize or not?
    #4706198 - 09/24/05 06:26 PM (11 years, 2 months ago)

I just bought a sealed bag of Black Kow manure/compost (70%/30%). I was wondering since the bag is sealed do I need to pasturize or can I simply go straight to spawn? I know Black Kow is certainly not the best manure but it is all I could get at he time. Thanks for any replies.

You want to pasturize. (sorry I know you didn't want to hear that)

Can I just take the poo directly out of the bag and place in a pillow case to be cooked at 170 degrees or do I need to totaly dry it out first? The reason you dry it out is to remove the ammonia from the poo, correct?

Usually you dry and leech. But if it's composted you probably only need to pasturize.

If you are going to use that shit, then just make sure it's moisture content is at field capacity and go ahead and pasturize.
best of luck
:peace:

Can I pasturize using tap water or do I HAVE to boil the water first and then use it to pasturize? If I have to boil how long do I need to boil it for?
