What kind. I have a 41 quart AA that only uses a pint of water. Some types go through more water than others. Depends on how much steam escapes during use. With my Presto, I havt to fill it 1/3 of the way up the jars.

I have the same one. I just fill it until it is just above the level of that round metal disc they give you to put on the bottom. The important thing to remember is to adjust the stove temp once the pressure builds so that the weight is just barely hissing at a constant rate. If you let it hiss and rattle violently, you let to much steam out and that's when shit burns, glass cracks and you have to scrape substrate out of your PC

Don't you just love those AA 941's - with two steam release toggles. One pint of water & you can PC for 6 hours, if you want & still have water left.
I started out with an AA 925 - with those toggles & always wondered why others had so many PC water related problems, with other type PC's.
