    #4704794 - 09/24/05 01:34 PM (11 years, 10 months ago)

Day 1

I saw it start to pop up yesterday but was like this couldn't be happening. She has been under a 1000W MH Argosun bulb for almost 3 months at 12/12 lighting.

Thanks everyone, I am proud to share such beauty. I do admit Ariocarpus first interested me because of there chemical content but I know could never slay such a magnificent creature. I will update this as much as I can with pics for the remains of the flowering period. I bought this cacti off eBay, which was ground up from the ground from a building contract or whatnot. The seller claimed the cacti was 30 years old roughly. I have a Ariocarpus Rectus that is a little baby and this cacti must be at least 20 years old if not 30 due to how slow these grow.

sorry if the macro's are slightly blurry but I gave blood the other day and can hardly hold the camera still.
