Hey everyone,
I was in the garden yesterday and I found a heap of these shrooms. They're dried up from all the hot weather recently but.. I'm still hopeful that this means my garden is seeded with somethin good. Black gills.. here's a couple of pics.

Looks like some type of coprinus species to me. Not psychoactive.

I concur. If they wouldn't have been dried out by the sun they would have melted into an inky mass. Coprinus species for sure. Not hallucinogenic, but you are looking for the right color of spores.

That would be a Japanese Umbrella inky as per the ol' Audobon book. Real cool looking little mushie, and I believe edible (if you want) but not a choice edible and definitely not magic.
