I'm going out on a limb here and would guess that MOST of the members here would dig on the color scheme/layout of the website you posted in your pics the other night. :smile: 

  Seriously...that shit was tight.  Neon blue is sort of...antithetical to an organically-based knowledge website. 

  Earthtones are k3y. 

  Okay.  I just wanted to voice a user's opinion on this matter after I saw there were alternatives that were considered.

For this redesign we wanted a bold and unique look which would help strengthen the site's identity. Since we were planning on it lasting a while, we evaluated multiple concepts to find the one that was most universally appealing. We had some good options as you can see above, but I think we made the right decision.

The site is entirely skinnable though, and if people really like one of the old concepts it's possible it could be developed further into an optional, alternative layout.

Is there a way to get that skin/scheme as an option?
