How come i'm not gettin any shrooms over 3-5 grams wet on my PF cakes?

Could be anything. Without knowing more about your situation, hard to say.

You're getting shrooms. :thumbup:

3 - 5 grams wet each. Get 15 per cake and call yourself a cake God , lol.

If they're BRF cakes, lack of nutrients would be a good guess. Cakes can grow some good shrooms, just not HUGE ones.

Switch to spawning with horse manure, you will not be dissapointed. I just had one that was 15 inches long, Pink Buffalo, though it was hollow in the stem so it didnt wiegh all that much, just one eight when dried.

At least case them, these bad boys came from BRF cakes that were cased with 50/50+ mix. They were all from the same batch, 1 was on a casing that I buried outside, the other 2 were fruited in my FC.

What strain is it? I am growing texan cased and they are tiny. 1" diameter caps

Iv got super small shrooms with my cakes too. However I'm surpised almost none of them are aborting they are opening up to full umbrella except some are only 3/4" tall!...yeah super small and even smaller when dry. Mushroom size is realated to substrate depth thats why this week I'm spawing wbs to 4-5 inches of horse poo.

I've never made a cake... Started with WBS and Rye. Just watching my first pins mature today, They look like they're gonna be decent sized, and there are about 50 so far and more starting, the grow is in an area of about 10 cubic inches. Spawn to pooh, you won't be disappointed!
No cake advice tho... sorry.

Oh, you only grew a shroom that was big enough to be its own dry dose? Poor thing... :crymeariver:

Haha, I can't wait till I start my own manure casing grow. I did almost a dozen cakes before, and that worked out pretty damn well, but I have a feeling that it's time to step up with the big boys now. :evil:
