Well thats great Psilocyber...another option for mushroom growing for the OMC.

This is no new idea though, this has been around for many years. I wondered when someone would bring it online.
I researched this well over a year ago when we decided on the DB kits. These were actually being sold in local "flea markets" in Seattle for many years. But no garentee to back them up...but they do work from time to time.

The problem with these Micro Environment Bags (MEB) is they dont have much cropping surface, giving off small flushes,  and they contaminate easily.
A big tip for you...dont use rye grain for these. Your going to experience a lot of replacements with these if you do. Your still going to experience a lot of replacements.....you can quote me on that

Judging by the picture, and your website it says the subtrate is "pre-sterilized mixture of substrate material specially designed for grain loving mushrooms" .....looks like birdseed and vermiculite to me... which is a good choice for this growing environment.

Also you should all take notice... no casing soil is needed. In any small environment like this, the substrate creates enough moisture that casing soil is not needed.

Good luck to you guys. ... this is another addition to the many variables of mushroom growing that does work. And you great folks from OMC get to experience it and hey...its cheap !
