I live in central Texas and was at the store earlier and a lot of the shelves are empty because people bought all the food! It's so ridiculous. I live 3 hours north of houston and these idiots think our city is gonna turn into New Orleans or something. Bunch of scaredy cats if you ask me. Now, living in Houston is another story.

Yeah it's pretty funny. All I did was go in there and buy a huge tub of peanut butter because I was hungry. There were people waiting in line to fill up these huge containers of water. I thought to myself "Give me a break!" It was mostly beaners though, since I live in little mexico. I wonder where all these cretins got the idea that they better stock up on foos and water? I don't get it. By the way, I am not being racist, it's just the way I talk :smile:

A month ago, no one would have have though twice about a hurricane
coming, but after the news of New Orleans, people are on edge,
I,m in north Texas, with company people down in Houston, and
they are freaked out.

Yeah, I can understand that, but people need to be realistic about things, that's all. They are not thinking. They are going overboard with the "Better safe than sorry" attitude.
