some loph care questions

I've read a fair deal, and am going to head over to the nook for some answers but i have a few quick questions.
Im going to be getting a loph in a few days, about 5 yrs old.
Lighting: Will a couple compact fluoro's keep the dude healthy over winter? How many watts do you suggest?
Soil: I currently have some "Black Gold" potting soil, sand, and perilite. Will a mix something like 1/3 of each work? Is black gold too nutritous? If so what kind of soil should i get? keep in mind i already have the sand and perilite. Also i think i've read about other things like lime or dolomite? is that for lophs? where would i get something like that?
Pots: will a clay pot with one drainage hole in the middle be ok? some places i read suggest clay pots, while others swear by plastic, which should i use?
Fungicide: what kind of fungicide should get? And should i sterilize my soil mix im using before i plant my lopho? Is microwaving ok for that? Can you microwave sand? seems like it might have metals in it or something, heh.
I think thats it lol. Thanks in advance for you's guys's help.

don't put sand in the soil, make it about 65% mineral (perlite) to 35% organic (compost). fungicide and sterilizing are not necessary. I little bit of lime would be beneficial.
plastic or clay is fine, use clay if you are scared of overwatering. choose a pot that is not much wider than the plant and the pot must be deeper than it is wide to allow room for the tuberous root.

I'm planning to start some lophophora seed soon, but I'm going to be moving in a month or so. Should I just wait to plant them until I have settled into my new home? Would the move possibly interupt a delicate part of their growth cycle?
I've just had a bad time at getting cactii seeds to grow to maturity and I really don't want to mess up this time.

what kind of organic compost do you guys suggest? I dont know exactly to look for something like that...
So a good loph mix would be
65% perlite 35% compost and how much lime?
And should i use sand on the top layer? how deep?

I think that you should wait. When you plant them, be sure to keep the sand/soil at 80-90 degrees. My first seed try I kept them at room temp and it took about 2 weeks to get a few to germinate. If you keep the soil warm you will increase your germination speed and percentage.

So, should a heating pad beneath them be a good idea?

Yes that should work, anything that will get the soil at 80-90f will be perfect. I use a zoo med reptile under tank heat pad from petco.
