I spent some time looking around for info on worms and casts. The link above is the cheapest price I could find for live worms. Now, why live worms instead of just buying thier casts? Most people that I know who eat have scraps that just go into the garbage. Why throw away something that will be food for a low maintainace critter that will help you grow some really nice fruits? Also, they double their numbers monthly and all those extras can go toward fishing, putting on your garden, fertilizing your house plants, or selling to people for all of the above.
