Incubator Temps...
    #4696714 - 09/22/05 08:28 PM (11 years, 4 months ago)

Is it ok if your incubator temperature is fluctuating between 85-90 degrees while your waiting for your mycelium to grow in agar?

I do all agar plates at normal room temperature. Fluctuations in temperature will cause condensation to build up on the surface of the cover.

Wrap the plates, or line your incubator with old t-shirts or polystyrene packing etc. This will buffer heat fluctuations.
