Commercial mushroom cultivators all over the world use this product, of course they don't buy it from MCman, thought everyone knew that. Mushroom factories use this, it works. The price at the auction is half what MCman charges.

No McMan doesn't make it, it's made for the commercial mushroom industry.  It's not peptone, it's exactly what McMan calls it.  Now I see why you wanted to be friends dimitri :wink:

It a high end, delayed released version of cottonseed meal or soybean meal, but this is made from mostly millet. Other companies sell a similar product made mostly of soybean meal. It's mainly for bulk substrates, kicks in when nutrients start to get used up.
