I ask this more out of interest and learning than I do any other reason. I found several white, and rather large mushrooms growing in a patch. The caps are white with a darker spot on the top of the more mature ones. Also on the top of the cap there are little scar marks that are characteric of all the ones I picked. I am sorry I cannot post a pic , I don't have a camera yet. The bigger ones have many vanes underneath. The stems are the same white leather-like color.
These are probably poison, but I am very curious as to what they are. If I can ID a useless shroom ( other than their beauty ) I mite be on my way to acquiring more knowlege about my new hobby.
I wish I had some pictures of non-psilosybe mushrooms to look through, I will be searching in the mean-time.
