Time after colonization in jars
    #4694905 - 09/22/05 01:41 PM (11 years, 3 months ago)

Hello, my jars have all been growing in different rythms, I have 1 that is 100% done and has been completed for 5 days or so, and one that has a 10% left... for how long can I keep them this way before anything bad happens? I can't put them in the fridge so there's no way I can stop their time, but I want to at least regulate the jars so I can case them all within a common interval, so its easier to grow them. So, I have it all prepared to case these 2 jars if necessary (I could case just one jar but that wouldnt make too much of a surface for the myc), the question is, should I do it? Is it necessary? Maybe I can put a limit, like, wait for the one that is 90% done to be fully colonized? help...

Wait for the second jar to completely colonize. The first jar will be OK.

Leave it, mycofile has been talking of increased potency using overincubated jars.

ok thanks for the replies. Now I'd like to add that the next day I can case is Monday, would that still be ok for my overincubated jar #1?
